What the extension stores

The only data the extension keeps is what you deliberately create:

• The templates you write — their name and their text.
• Your language preference.
• A flag recording that you have used the button once, so the highlight ring stops.

This is saved using Chrome's storage.sync API, which means Chrome itself may replicate it across the devices where you are signed in to your Google account. That synchronisation is performed by Chrome, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy. If you prefer not to sync, you can turn off extension syncing in Chrome's settings.

What the extension does not do

• It does not read, store, or transmit the content of your emails.
• It does not read your contacts, your calendar, or your account details.
• It never transmits your templates. They stay in your browser.
• It contains no analytics, telemetry, tracking pixels or advertising.
• It loads no remote code. Everything it runs is inside the installed package.
• It never sells your data or shares it for advertising.

Payments and the Pro upgrade

The extension is free to use with a limited number of templates. Unlimited templates are unlocked with a one-time payment. That payment is the only part of the extension that communicates with the outside world.

Payments are handled by ExtensionPay, which in turn uses Stripe to process the transaction. If you choose to buy:

• You provide your email address to ExtensionPay so your licence can be recognised on your other computers. The extension stores whether you have paid — not who you are.
• Your card details go directly to Stripe. They are never seen, handled or stored by this extension or by its developer.
• Both companies process this data as our service providers, under their own privacy policies: ExtensionPay and Stripe.

If you never buy the upgrade, none of the above applies and nothing is ever transmitted.

Why it needs access to Outlook pages

The extension runs only on the Outlook web app: outlook.cloud.microsoft, outlook.office.com, outlook.office365.com and outlook.live.com. It needs to run on those pages for one reason: to place the "Templates" button next to the message you are writing and to insert your chosen text at the cursor. It reads the position of the cursor in order to insert text there. It does not read what you have written.

Permissions

The extension requests a single permission, storage, which is what allows your templates to be saved. It requests no other permission.

Deleting your data

Deleting a template in the extension removes it immediately. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it has stored locally.

If you bought the Pro upgrade and want the email address held by our payment processors deleted, write to the address below and it will be removed. Note that deleting it also removes the record of your purchase, so the licence can no longer be restored on a new computer.

Children

The extension is a productivity tool for work email and is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

If the extension ever gains a feature that changes how data is handled — for example an optional account for sharing templates with colleagues — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the change will be described in the extension's listing.
